Spotlight: Carisa Bianca Mellado & Andrew Dalziell
Los Angeles–based composers Carisa Bianca Mellado and Andrew Dalziell are not only creating music, they’re building a creative community.
Through The Night Temple, the duo bring together film scoring, opera, synth, world and darkwave influences to create cinematic, myth-inspired soundscapes.
Carisa, a Chilean-Italian composer raised in Australia, is a vocalist with a remarkable four-octave range whose work spans pop, metal and opera.
Andrew, an Australian multi-instrumentalist and graduate of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, specialises in percussion, Taiko drums, guitar, cello, piano and orchestration.
Together they have scored short films, operas, stage productions and feature films, while also performing in their darkwave art band Night Tongue and hosting The Night Temple Podcast exploring creativity and storytelling.
Soon they will open a dedicated venue and creative hub in Hollywood for live performances, film screenings and industry gatherings.
Two Australians building community and shaping the global stage.
